Apprenticeship Recruitment (young persons information)

If you’re 16 or over and would prefer to earn while you’re learning then becoming an apprentice could be the best option for you.
Apprentices are employed normally for a minimum of 30 hours per week and learn both on-the-job and off-the-job, where you will gain nationally recognised work-related qualifications to give you the right skills and help you get on in your chosen career path.
Your training is fully funded and you will be paid for the work you do – the minimum Apprenticeship wage set by the Government is currently £2.60 per hour.
The length of an apprenticeship varies depending on the job you’re doing, your age and how much previous experience you have.  On completion you will be awarded an Apprenticeship certificate and may find that your employer can offer you a permanent position at your company.
We’ll also match you with a suitable college or training provider, which you’ll attend part time – one day a week, or sometimes on a block-release basis.
We also offer directly employed opportunities for young people land-based industries.
